A: Enter your current Discord username. Make sure the username is entered correctly and that you have already joined the WB Plugins Discord server.
Q: Will I automatically receive the product after payment?
A: Yes. For the smoothest delivery experience, join the Discord server before completing your purchase and make sure your Discord direct messages are enabled. The WB Plugins License Bot should contact you within approximately 30 seconds of a successful purchase with license activation instructions.
Q: How do I receive plugin files and updates?
A: Plugin files and update announcements are posted in the WB Plugins Discord server. After purchasing a plugin, your Discord account will receive the appropriate customer role, giving you access to the relevant download and support channels.
Q: Are there any requirements for running the plugins?
A: Your server or hosting provider must support ArkServerAPI. These plugins will not work on standard Nitrado servers or other hosting services that do not support ArkServerAPI. Please confirm compatibility with your hosting provider before purchasing.
Licensing and Renewals
Q: Do ARK: Survival Evolved plugins require a subscription?
A: No. Plugins developed for ARK: Survival Evolved (ASE) use lifetime licenses and do not require an annual subscription. You only pay once for an ASE plugin license.
Q: Do ARK: Survival Ascended plugins require a subscription?
A: Yes. Plugins developed for ARK: Survival Ascended (ASA) use an annual subscription and renewal system. An active subscription is required to use supported plugin builds released after the subscription system was introduced.
Q: Why do ASA plugins require an annual subscription?
A: ARK: Survival Ascended updates can introduce significant technical changes that require plugins to be analyzed, updated, tested, and rebuilt. The removal of publicly available PDB information substantially increased the reverse-engineering and maintenance work required after game updates. Annual renewals help fund continued compatibility work and allow updated builds to be released as quickly as possible.
Q: What happens if my ASA subscription expires?
A: You will not lose ownership of your original plugin license. Builds released on or before the subscription cutoff remain usable without an active subscription. However, builds released after the cutoff require an active subscription and will not authorize after the subscription expires.
Customers may continue using eligible builds without a subscription, but those builds may stop working after future ASA updates. Renewing the subscription restores access to supported post-cutoff builds.
Q: How long does an ASA renewal last?
A: Each renewal extends the subscription for the selected ASA plugin by 365 days. Renewals are purchased separately for each plugin.
Q: Does purchasing a renewal give me the main plugin?
A: No. A renewal package only extends an existing license for the corresponding plugin. It does not include the main plugin and does not create a new license.
You must already own the correct plugin before purchasing its renewal. Although the renewal will be delivered through the WB Plugins Discord bot, it cannot be used without ownership of the corresponding main plugin.
Purchasing a renewal without owning the corresponding plugin will not grant access to the plugin and will not be eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law or Tebex policy.
